Flamencamiento Global Trio brings together three musicians from France, Cuba and Venezuela around a shared language: flamenco. Led by French guitarist and composer Yannick Corre, the trio explores original compositions where flamenco is shaped by the influences of jazz and Latin.

Yannick has been part of Oslo’s music scene for several years through his work with Ingrid Jasmin, whose project received a Spellemann Award in 2022. This tour marks the launch of Flamencamiento Global Trio and its first tour in Scandinavia.

Gastón Joya, on double bass, has performed with Buena Vista Social Club Orchestra, Chucho Valdés, Omara Portuondo and Sting, among many other renowned artists. Venezuelan percussionist Julio Alcocer brings extensive experience in both flamenco and Afro-Caribbean and Afro-Venezuelan traditions.

Together, they create a dynamic and highly improvisational sound, where listening and dialogue are at the heart of the music.
