CosmopoLITEN: Fuglekongen

CosmopoLITEN is a brand new concert series for children at Cosmopolite in Soria Moria. Here we invite young audiences to experience live music in a safe and playful setting — close to the musicians and in a format designed for curious ears.

Bring the family and spend half a morning in our local cultural castle, with a concert, activities, coffee for the adults, and (not too unhealthy) treats for the kids.

Join us as the birds of the forest gather for a dance party to crown their king – while a cunning fox does everything he can to cause trouble.

In this playful and interactive performance, the children help tell the story of Fuglekongen and how he earned his name. The story needs animals of all shapes and sizes, and there is room for everyone who enjoys dancing, imagination and role-play.

We need, among others:

• An eagle, an owl and the world’s smallest sparrow
• A family of birds who simply want some peace
• A fox who only wants to cause trouble
• A bear who drives an electric car

Find your wings, paws and imagination – the forest needs you!

Join us for music and dancing in the foyer! Kasta kniva, kasta gafla – tap the wooden spoon and ring the bell along with us.

As part of Soria Moria Day, storyteller Rebekka Eline Kvelland and musician Trygve Liahagen invite you to enjoy a taste of the performance. There will be music, storytelling and dancing for children and adults alike.
