The Harlem Spirit of Gospel feat. Anthony Morgan

For the fourth year in a row, Cosmopolite will be filled with the true spirit of gospel when The Harlem Spirit of Gospel By Anthony Morgan returns to Oslo. On Sunday, December 7, the venue will once again come alive with uplifting songs, energy, and warmth – setting the perfect tone for the Advent season.

This is the choir that turns a concert into more than just a musical performance – it becomes a celebration of community, joy, and faith. Led by Anthony Morgan and with Pastor Reene F. Washington Gardner from Memorial Baptist Church in Harlem as the spiritual guide, the choir delivers a blend of gospel, jazz, pop, and R&B that speaks directly to both heart and soul.

The audience knows what to expect: contagious energy, powerful voices, and songs that make you sing along, dance, and simply feel the joy of life. As David Letterman summed it up after featuring the choir on his show:

“This choir rocks the house!”

The Harlem Spirit of Gospel has performed and recorded with legends such as Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Diana Ross, Billy Joel, and Sting – and graced stages ranging from intimate venues to the world’s largest arenas. They were also the first choir ever to perform at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards, where Billboard described the ceremony as “full of starpower” – thanks to Anthony Morgan’s Inspirational Choir of Harlem.
