Brazilian superstar Vanessa da Mata is finally coming to Oslo! On April 24th, she will take the stage at Cosmopolite with her critically acclaimed show Vem Doce – a concert experience you won’t want to miss.

With a Latin Grammy to her name and an impressive career as a singer-songwriter, Vanessa has captivated audiences worldwide. Her latest album, Vem Doce, has received rave reviews and was nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Brazilian Pop Album. On stage, she blends fresh new songs with iconic hits like Ai Ai Ai, Boa Sorte, and Não Me Deixe Só, promising an evening filled with passion, rhythm, and pure Brazilian magic.

Directed by Jorge Farjalla and inspired by key figures of Brazilian modernism, the show is a carefully crafted artistic experience. With her handpicked band and a unique stage presence, Vanessa invites the audience on a musical journey through her personal and artistic universe.

Opening Act: Bruna Santana

Before Vanessa da Mata takes the stage at Cosmopolite on Thursday, April 24, the evening will commence at 19:15 with a performance by Brazilian vocalist Bruna Santana. Based in Oslo, Bruna has become a prominent figure in Norway's Brazilian music scene, celebrated for her warm voice and commanding presence. She has collaborated with ensembles such as Prime Time Orchestra and Oslo Bossa Nova Ensemble, delivering performances that span samba, bossa nova, jazz, and Afro-Brazilian rhythms.​

For this concert, Bruna will be accompanied by guitarist Per Olav Kobberstad, renowned for his expertise in Brazilian music and jazz. Together, they will present a captivating set that offers the audience a taste of Brazilian musicality and warmth.
