Øyvind Brække Sextet made a release on the album in February - "Wilderness" on the record company Oslo Session Recordings, with Knut Riisnæs saxophones, Jacob Young guitar, Per Zanussi bass, Bergmund Waal Skaslien, viola, Erik Nylander drums and Øyvind Brække trombone.

The band plays exclusively Bræcke's compositions in a melodic jazz landscape. At the end of October, the band travels a little tour in Eastern Norway, with concerts in Oslo, In Moss, at Hamar Jazz Club, and in Bærum Kulturhus as a launch of the album. Jørgen Mathisen, known from Krokofant among others, is the new saxophonist on this tour. The band plays modern melodic jazz, inspired by the ECM tradition led by performers such as Bill Frisell, Dave Holland, but also has American influences such as Ornette Coleman and Charles Mingus interspersed with elements of Western contemporary music a la Stravinsky and Aaron Copeland.
